so, I've always been kinda weird about the digital manipulation being all thrown in with the standard photography.
I feel like they are seperate skills and seperate arts.
I once entered this photo contest that I had done well at in the past, and though I still did ok that year, I didn't do as well..... and it was the same year that they mixed the categories together and all the awards went to digitally manipulated stuff and it just bugged me.
The computer I am using has a program for photo editing, the bare bones type of stuff, but I have never used any of the fancy effect thingers, because I feel like I should be striving to make the ima

There are so many things I want to post here but all I have with me here on this coast (there are BOXES UPON BOXES at home on the west coast) are the prints which were in my portfolio and the ones I have taken while I've been here.
So I feel kind of limited.
The prints from my portfolio have been SO handled to death, they are all scratched and full of dust and fingerprints. It's almost embarassing to post them.
I have to learn how to edit them and fix all that stuff.

Ah thanks! I am actually taking my first semester in flash as well. That was an assignment for advanced tween motion. You should definitely show me some of your flash works too!
